Coaches/Managers are expected to pay Officials prior to the game starting. Coaches may pay you with cash or a check, or via another payment service such as PayPal/Venmo if both parties agree. You should not start the game until you have been paid.
Payment for services between the Coach/Manager and the Official are not the responsibility of HireARef. HireARef exists to help organize and link Coaches/Managers with Officials, but payment is 100% the responsibility of the Coach or Manager that posted the game.
Officials that have an issue with payment for a game, should add that to their rating for the game and can submit a dispute with HireARef. HireARef makes no guarantees that disputes will be resolved in favor of either party.
